It would be a shame if BioMedNet closed down [via ResourceShelf]: it's the only real cross-subject, multiple-journal-integrating, science portal available. Having said that, I haven't really found anything of any value there for many months. There was no community either - you can see in the quotes that Elsevier just considered it a form of marketing.
