The new beta of Zoom Player [Windows] has one very handy feature: when it first opens up, it checks the codecs installed on your computer and produces a list of the most important codecs that are missing, along with links to download them. Extremely useful if you've been struggling with Media Player Classic/BSPlayer/WinAmp to try and play movies and TV shows encoded in all kinds of different ways.
