musiCompass is using Flash to visualise the Audioscrobbler database: celestial maps of user/artist relations, textual analysis of song titles, and at some point an overview of the whole musical landscape.

No idea, sorry. The site seems to have disappeared at the moment. Maybe http://www.musicompass.net/ will reappear one day.
