Trying to find out how to print a large file over multiple pages, without much success. Got as far as converting a 20MB PDF into a 1.6GB 8-page EPS file using poster, but getting it to print was impossible.
I've looked at Rasterbator but haven't got it to run yet. I have a feeling that's more for turning low-res images into big posters though, rather than printing large images at full size.
Thanks for the Freehand recommendation - I'll give that (and Illustrator) a try.
Adobe Acrobat (I have version 7 and don't know if previous versions do this) has the option of "Tile large pages" in "Page Scaling" under the "File > Print" menu item.
Have you tried using The Rasterbator?

FreeHand MX for example does things like that with a function called "Tiling". Your document produces a 9 page 33 MB pdf.

Wow, that rasterbator link is NICE

That's exactly what I was looking for Rod, thanks. It was there all the time.
