Q: How do I get onto Parkland Walk from Highgate, London?
(click through to see bigger images)
Yahoo: Fail! (the path stops some distance to the east, so isn't even shown here)

Microsoft: Beyond fail! (same lack of path mapping as Yahoo, plus the woods are missing)

Google: Better, but still fail! (shows the path joing up to Shepherds Hill Heights, which it doesn't, even if you spend 15 minutes looking)

OpenStreetMap: Win! (the full extent of the path is correctly mapped, plus all the connecting footpaths)

So, what's the world coverage of OpenStreetMap? I had the impression it's rather biased to western areas where people own GPS tracking devices...
Anywhere, really, but particularly those areas that are useful enough for people to have mapped them. It's well known for its coverage of Beijing[1] and Baghdad[2].
