Sente is a smooth, if hugely overpriced, tool for organising search results from PubMed. Searches can be filtered down by keywords, and there's the standard OS X multi-panel (faceted?) browser for narrowing down through categories.
Full-text files can be linked to each item, and references can be exported in Refer format, for import into bibliographic managers such as EndNote.
