Tips on running a label? Don't set one up. Instead set up a website which just recommends or introduces interesting artists or people to one another. All artists have to learn how to set up their own paid-download sites. If they leave it to labels they'll just go on getting ripped off for ANOTHER 50 years...Links and recommendations are the only things that matter now.
